1. These psons following that they remove theire middings behinde the Churchgate barrs before the ffifteenth day of May upon paine of vjs. viijd. apeece.

Dorothy Thistleton, Lawrence Bostocke, Robte Baley, Willm Baley, Nicholas Cunliffe, Willm Lorrimer, John Burton, George Hindle.

2. Agnes Myers wid that she shall cut her wood in her hedge wch hangs ovr the Lane Leading towards Ribbleton lane to the annoyance of the high way before last day of March upon paine of vjs. viijd.

3. Mr James Hodgkinson shall scowre his ditch all a long his field in Ribbleton Lane at or before ye first of Aprill upon paine of six shillings & eight pence.

4. That Eines? ffarrand? shall scowre his ditch all along his field side in Ribbleton lane at or before the first day of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

5. That the now baliffes shall hang the East moore yeats and the north moore yeate and put the same in good and sufficient repaire at or before ye 25th day of March upon paine of vjs viijd.

6. That James Wearden shall scowre his Ditch at his field side in Ribbleton Lane at or before the first of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

7. That the Supvisors shall repaire the Cawsey way in some needfull places in Ribbleton Lane at or before the 23rd day of June upon paine of xxs.

8. That Robte Clarkson shall scowre his ditches and Raise his platt in Daker lane soe that ye water may have its usuall Course at or before the xvjth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

9. That Thomas Rishton shall scowre his ditch at the east end of his close at the Dakergate and allonge the South side of his field to brockhall laine that the water may have its usuall Course at or before the sixteenth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

10. That Mr James Hodgkinson scowre his ditch alonge the side of the Long acre in brockhall lane and also at the side of Hesketh field downe unto the Asshtree at or before the xvjth of Aprill upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

11. Widd Sumpner and widd Graddell of the Sike hill that they shall repaire theire houses standing on the townes land the same being very much in decay and that the same shall be put in Sufficient reparaton at or before the xxiiijth day of June next upon paine of xxs apeece.

12. That the now Balives shall hange the yeate at ye weend end behinde the churchgate barrs leading to the Cocker hole at or before ye xth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

13. That Willm Curtis shall scowre his ditch betwixt the tannpits and the Sykes at or before the first of May next upon paine of vjs. viijd.

14. That James Hodgkinson hath not accordinge to the ffourth prsentmt of the last Leete Removed his Earth lying to the topp of the wall of minspitt well and therefore hath fforfeited the sume of 3s 4d. Also that the said James Hodgkinson shall remove the said Earth from the topp of the said wall soe that there may be noe anoyance by ffilth or Dung runing into the said well at or before the first of May upon paine of vjs. viijd.

15. That Mr Edward Robinson, Mr Ralph Shorrock, Catherine Worthington widd, John Cadman & Luke Greenfield have not according to the first prsentmt of the last Leete taken upp theire garden Copps wch are slipped downe into the highway Leading to minspitt well and therefore have fforfeited the sume of 3s 4d apeece. And therefore that ye said sevrall psons shall take upp theire sevrall copps wch are slippen downe into the highway as afforesaid at or before the first day of May upon paine of every one of them makeing default therein the sume of vjs. viijd. apeece.

16. That the now balives shall cause the turne stile to be sett in its usuall place in the highway Leading to the minspit well at or before the first day of may upon paine of vjs. viijd.

17. These psons followinge that they remove theire ditches and paire theire copps at the Lower ends and sides of theire crofts adioyning to the Sykes at or before the first of may upon paine of 3s 4d a peece.

18. Mr Willm Shawe shall scowre his ditch and raise his coppe all alonge betwixt his sikes and the bottom of Ryding hey at or before the first of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

19. Mrs Elizabeth Wearden that she scowre her ditch at the north end of her meadowe in the meadowe lane that the water may have its usuall Corse to passe into Ribble at or before the first day of May upon paine of vjs. viijd.

20. That the Supervisors shall repaire the broadgate lane and winde and stake at needfull places and shall winde and stake at the Bridge at broadgate ende and the same at the end of the bridge to be filled upp wth gravell at or before the 24th of June upon paine of vjs. viijd.

21. That Mrs Ellizabeth Wearden widd shall scowre the ditch all alonge at the side of the Crooked Acre in the broadgate lane at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

22. That Mrs Margret Addison shall scowre her ditch and upon her watercourse at the bancke heade all alonge that the water may have its usuall Corse at or before the ffifteenth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

23. That Henry Chorley shall scowre his ditch all alonge betwixt his barne towards the winde milne at or before ye 15th of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

24. That Mr Robte Hesketh, Mr Edmund Robinson, John Place shall remove theire midings forth of the streetes above the ffishergate barrs according to the Last guild ordr accordinge to the penalty therein specifyed.

25. That John Jameson hath theretofore incroached upon the townes waste at the west end of his house in the ffryers weende six yeards in Length and at the upr end three yeards in bredth and one yeard in breadth at the Lawer end and that the said John Jameson shall pull downe the said Incroachmt or other wise be rented at or before ye 15th of June next upon paine of 40s.

26. That Margret Walmsley widdow shall scowre her ditch all alonge the side of the Lower ffriers downe to the water course at or before the 15th of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

27. That John Higham shall cut his wood and paire his coppe at the South end of the Alley Lane towards his yeate And otherwise shall scowre his ditch downe to the watercourse at his croft at the north end of the Alley lane at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

28. That John Woods shall scowre his ditch along at the East end of the Suckling Sikes to the watercourse and to open a wide grippe through the midest of the Sikes before the xvth of Aprill next upon paine of vjs. viijd.

29. That Thomas Birches shallcut his wood wth hangs ovr the Lane all alonge the side of the beare croft at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

30. That Lawrence Tomlinson shall cut his wood wch hangs ovr the Leane at Welsman Brow and take up his Copp wch is slidden downe and to scowre his ditch at the bottom of the same browe at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

31. That John Holme shall paire his Copp halfe a yeared and cut his wood at the bottom of the viccar Greave and turne the water into usuall Course undr the bottom of welsman browe at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

32. That Thomas Birches shall Stopp ye watr at the head of Hesketh ffield that the water may goe its usuall course and to paire his Copp and cut his wood at the bottom of the same field wch is anoyance to the way leading unto sevrall mans Lands at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

33. That the now Balives have not according to the 20th prsentmt of the Last Leete sett Stoopes and Railes at Davell bridge upon the Marsh for the prservation of the Ramp and have not repaired the two railes upon the Marsh according to the time given them and therefore have fforfeited vjs. viijd. at that the said Balives shall repaire the said Bridge and Cauls in mannr as afforesaide at or before the 24th of June upon paine of 40s.

34. Henry Graistocke that he hath cast upp a coppe all alonge his house side and layeth a midding betwixt the said Copp and his house side wch is contrary to sevrall prsentmts heretofore made against him therefore wee say that the said Henry Graistocke shall make his Copp levell and remove his middinge and lay noe more dunge there at or before the xvth of May next upon paine of xs.

35. That the now Balives shall cause the Gutters to be drawne to the Sikes on Spittle mosse and lay Leade on the troughs where is wantinge at or before the 15th of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd.

36. That the now Balives shall cause a pticon wall of breeke to be sett upp in the pinfould where there was a wall heretofore broken downe soe that now mens goods are ingreat danger of being spoyled by reason that horses beasts sheepe swine and geese are all togeather (when foulded) and being soe good and genrall concernmt for the good and welfae of this Corporation therefore that the said Balives cause the said particion wall to be sett upp againe and the pinfould paired and put in as good repaire as it formrly hath beene at or before ye 24th of June.

37. The now Balives shall repaire the Cawsey way and set the Railes to keepe horses of the towne betwixt Mr Prestons and the pinfould at or before the 24th of June next upon paine of 3s. 4d.

38. That the now Balives shall winde and stake at the north moore yeate to keepe the water in its usuall Corse at or before the 24th of June upon apine of vjs. viijd.

39. The now Balives that they shall repaire the nearer End of the bridge on ye ffurther side of the Marsh Leadinge towards Asshton at or before ye 1st of June upon paine of vjs. viijd.

40. Walter Myers and John Harrison that they put in theire Rubbage into the Breeke pitts on the peele moore at or before the xvth of Aprill upon paine of vjs. viijd. a peece.

41. George Hodgkinson, Roger Charnock, Ralph Shorrock, Robte Baley, John Key, John Tomlinson & the rest of the Inhitants at the moore side to repaire the ffoote cawsey way over the peele moore according to theire Ancient custome at or before ye 24th of June upon paine of vjs. viijd. a peece.

42. Mr James Hodgkinson that he shall repaire the ffurther end of ye breeke wall on ye backside on the house where he now inhabiteth being betwixt the said backside and the backside of the house of Mr Thomas Martin at or before the xxth of June upon paine of xiijs iiijd.

43. That the supvisors shall repaire the Causey upon Preston moore leadinge towards Lancastr in some needfull places where is wantinge at or before the xxiiijth of June upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

44. That Mr Thomas Patten shall repaire the house at the more side wch was formerly in the possesion of Willm Baley wch is very much in decay on or before the xxiiijth of June upon paine of xs.

45. That John Kay shall scowre his ditch at the south end of John Whalleys ground in the Lane Leading towards Holmes Slacke at or before the first of May upon paine of vjs. viijd.

46. Mr Ralph Shorrocke shall scowre his ditch that the water may runn in its usuall Course in the aforesaid lane at or before the first of May upon paine of vjs. viijd.

47. Ann Hughson widd shall remove the heapes of dunge lying before Mr Addison barne behind the ffriergate barrs at or before the xth of May upon paine of six shillings eight pence.

48. That the sevrall psons hereafter named shall remove theire middings behind the ffriergate barrs at or before ye xvth of May upon paine of vjs. viijd. apeece. Anne Hughson widd, John Holmes sen, James Holme, Margret Copeland wid, Ellizabeth Hetherington widd, George Bennet.

Thomas Walmesley Butcher and Willm Graistocke for makeinge a highway ovr the Spittle mosse to the ground they possess in the maudlands whereby the Mosse is much dampnifyed whereas theire way is through the lane called the maudlands lane as for the ffyne we reffer it to the disracon of the Maior and his Councell.

52. That thereis a house upon ye townes Land at the peele moore yeate wch was formrly in the possession of Richard Whalley wch is in very great decay and out of Lease. Therefor we referr it to the discrecon of ye Maior and Councell.
