1. Yt the now Balives shall repaire and hang ye yate at ye Corker hole at of before ye first day of May upon paine of xs.

2. Nicholas Cuncliffe and Willm Place yt they remove theire middings behind ye Church gate Barrs before ye ffifteenth of May next upon paine of iijs. iiijd. apiece.

3. Henry Myers to scoure his ditch upon ye Southside of Ribbleton lane at or before ye first of May next upon paine of iijs. iiijd.

4. Wm? Hodgkinson Butcher to scoure his ditch upon ye North side of Ribleton lane at or before ye first of May next upon paine of iijs. iiijd.

5. That ye Supvisors of ye Highways shall repaire ye Causey in Ribbleton lane in sevrall needfull places at or before xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xxs.

6. Ye Supvisors that they repaire the two platts in the newhall Lane at or before ye xxiiijth day of June upon paine of xxs.

7. Ye supvisors [highway surveyors] shall repaire ye narrow lane from Graystocke house towards Swillbrooke before ye xxiiijth of June next, upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

8. Yt ye said supvisors shall remove ye platt at ye west end of newhall lane and Lay ye same nere unto ye Causey side there before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xxs.

9. Ye said Supvisors yt they lay a fflag causey 5 rouds in length at ye North end of ye causey in ye way leading to Swillbrooke and to wynd and stake at both sides of ye Cartway in ye said lane and fill upp ye same wth gravell at or before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xls.

10. Ye now Balives that they lay aplat nere unto ye school house yt there may bee good passage to ye said schoole before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xs.

11. These psons following that they shall repaire and lay a platt in ye meadow lane over agt Thomas Loxam field on or before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of xs.

14. Ye Supvisors that they repaire ye Causey downe towards ye broadgate & set stoopes on each side of ye said Cawsey to prvent Carts forgoeing over ye same at or before ye xxiijth of June next upon paine of xxs.

15. Henry Wilding to lay a play at his field on ye south side of ye said Broad gate and to scoure his ditch all along there before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of iijs. iiijd.

The now Balives that they shall wind and stake at Davell Bridge for ye prservacon of ye Rampier and Lay gravell upon ye same Rampier where is wanting and likewise repaire ye Cawles at ye River of Ribble and add unto ye same Calls where is wanting in Length before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of ls.

19. Ye occupyers of ye mawdlands that they lopp the hedge all along ye south side of ye watery lane leading to ye marsh before ye 15th of Aprill, upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

20. Ye now Balives that they shall open ye Gripps to ye Sike troughs on Spittle mosse and cause Lead to bee laid on ye said troughs where is wanting and open ye Springs on ye said mosse above ye said Sike troughs yt cattle may come and drinke there before ye first of May next upon paine of xls.

21. Ye said Balives that they repaire ye pavemt wthin ye pinfould before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xxs.

22. Ye said Balives shall wind and stake behind ye north more yate and put two barrs in ye yate and well & sufficiently hang ye said yate before ye first fo May next upon paine of xxs.

23. Ye Supvisors that they repaire ye Causey on ye Moore leading twards Caddiley in sevrall places where is wanting before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of xxs.

24. Henry Myers that hee shall putt ye Rubbage into ye pitts wch hee hath digged upon ye moore for makeing breeke at or before ye first of May next upon paine of xxs.

25. Ye now balives yt they hang ye east moore yate before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of xxs.

26. Willm Werden jun for that hee hath digged and made sevrall pitts and great holes in ye highway at ye east more yate to ye great prjudice of ye said way and danger of many yt passe that way and therefore wee amerce him in the sume of xxs.

27. John Hodgkinson Butcher ye hee repaire ye barne standing at ye more side called by ye name of Shawe barne being in very great decay at or before ye xxiiijth of June next upon paine of ls.

28. Thomas Patten hath not repaired the house at ye moore side formly in ye possession of Will. Bayley, according to ye time given him, and therefore hath forfeited ye sume of £10, and hee shall sufficiently repaire ye said house before ye xxviiijth of June next upon paine of ye further sum of five pounds.

29. Widdow Sharrocke that she scoure ye ditch at ye east side of ye lane over agt Dakergate and lay and amend ye platt in ye same lane at or before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of vjs. viijd.

30. John Hodgkinson Currier yt he draw a ditch at ye side of his garden on ye west side of Clarke yard yt ye water may have ffree passage before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of vjs. viijd.

31. Edward Walker shall make a gutter along ye side of his new house in ye Clarke yard, and remove his midding and Rubbade there, yt ye water may have its free current, at or before ye xvth of Aprill next, upon paine of xs.

32. Nicholas Watson for that hee hath erected and built a Swine coate upon his backside wch doth adioyne to ye house of Nicholas Walmsley sen now in the possession of Thomas Richardson and by reason thereof and his swine Lying there ye Dung and excremts of ye said swine and other creatures doth force and presse through ye wall of ye said Richardsons house to ye prjudice and annoyance of ye Inhabitants there and ye decay of ye said house, therefore wee order that the said Nicholas Watson shall take downe and remove ye said Swyne coate yt ye same way bee noe more prjudicall to ye said house nor annoyance to ye Inhabitants there before ye xvth of Aprill next upon paine of vli.

Ye Supvisors yt they shall repaire ye footway at ye east end of ye towne over against ye Almshouse betwixt ye house now in ye possession of Jenet Cowling and ye house of James Taylor and to wynd and stake at ye side of ye said way to keepe ye earth from sliging downe from ye said way soe yt ye said way bee prserved for a ffree passage at or before ye first day of June next upon paine of xxs.

35. These sevrall psons following yt they did not appeare haveing notice by ye serjeant to bee Jurers at this Inquest but did pomptoryly deny and refuse to doe ye same wthout Craveing Leave or Lycence from Mr Maior of this towne therefore wee amerce them in ye sevrall sumes of xs apiece.
