2. Isabella Hall bought butter and other things and sold them again ye same day and Inhansed the markett thereby, and fine her in xs.

3. John Hatch Carpenter and his wife for forestalling ye market in buying coles and selling them againe thereby inhanceing ye price there and fine him in vjs. viijd.

4. Henry Graystocke hath not removed his steele in ye Maud lands to ye usuall pace before ye first day of June and do fynd him in xs. And doe order yt hee shall forfeit ijs. vjd. for every weeke yt ye same steele shall not bee removed.

5. Willm Arkwright jun yt hee hath not scowred his ditch and cutt his hedge Lying and being at ye Higher end of Clayton Hey at ye east side of Lancr lane before ye first day of June as hee was ordred by this Jury and fyne him in vjs. viijd., And doe ordr yt hee shall forfeit ijs. vjd. for every week ye sd hedge and ditch shall not bee cutt downe and scowred.

6. Edward ffleetwood Esqre hath not caused ye water corse scowred betwixt his Lands and Burows? lying over agt Blackborne barne before ye first day of June as was ordered by this Jury and fyne him in vjs. viijd., And doe order yt hee shall forfeit ijs. vjd. for every weeke ye said watercorse shall bee unscowred.

7. Willm Crosse being of the Jury of August of office ye hee did not attend ye rest of his ffellow jurors when they delivered theire verdict in iijs. iiijd.

8. Roger Walshman for fighting and drawing blood upon Thomas Greenfield ye younger and fine him him in iijs. iiijd.

9. Willm Graystocke hath not scowred ye watercorse belonging to Cowps? Croft all along ye west side of ye lane to Sheppards Ground before ye first day of June as he was ordred by this Jury and fyne him in vjs. viijd., And ordr yt hee shall forfeit ijs. vjd. for every week ye same watercorse shall bee unscowred.

10. Hugh Aynscough and Richard Withington, ffarmours of ye ffishing in Rible, that ye meases[meshes] of theire netts are straiter than ye statute in yt case directs, and fine them xls. apiece.

11. These psons undernamed that they have not taken ye oath of a Burgesse and ordr yt every of them shall attend Mr Maior to take ye same oath before ye ffirst day of July next upon paine of every one makeing defalt to fforfeit xs apiece vizt.

12. That the Causeys in ye Markett street before ye house of Thom Loxam and James Coop are in decay and that the Balives of this towne shall cause ye same sufficiently repaired where need required before ye xvth day of July next upon paine of xxs. apiece.

13. John Woods joyner hath caused dung and manure to bee laid in a place in ffryer lane called ally and over agt Widdow Walmsleys close and order ye same to bee removed before ye first day of July next upon paine of xs.

14. Part of the houses and barne on ye backside of widdow Rishtons house is soe Ruinous and in decay that it is in danger to fall to ye Hazard of Breaking downe pt of Thomas Burchall house and in danger of ye lives of such psons as goe into ye sd Birchalls building if the sd decayed housing ffall and ordr yt yt same bee repaired before ye last day of July next upon paine of xls.

15. John Sumpner grocer hath not scowred his ditches nor cutt his hedges at his field adioyning to ye broad meadow according to an order of ye Jury of Inquest of office and that hee hath forfeited vjs. viijd., And ordr ye occupyers of ye same close shall scowre ye ditch and cutt ye hedges before ye xxth of September next upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

16. Nicholas Watson hath not scowred his ditch from ye ally lane according to a former ordr of ye sd Jury and that hee hath forfeited xs. and order that hee shall scour ye same ditch all along ye marsh side according to an order of ye same Jury on or before ye first day of July next upon paine of xs.

17. Mr Henry Hodgkinson being occupyer of Bickerstaffe ffield neare ye marsh hath not scoured ye ditch all along ye marsh side according to an order of ye said Jury and that hee hath forfeited iijs. iiijd., And ordr that hee shall scoure ye same ditch before ye last day of July next upon paine of xiijs. iiijd.

18. The now Balives have not caused a gutter drawne for ye water to runn into ye Sykes at Spyttle mosse nor opened the springs there above according to an order of ye said Jury and that they have forfeited 13s 4d. And yt ye sd Gutter bee drawne and springs opened before ye first day of July next upon paine of xxs. to bee forfeited by ye sd Baylives.

19. Mrs Mary Sudell hath not opened ye way and made ye same passable for his Ma[jes]ties Subjects according too an order of ye sd Jury and yt she hath forfeited xls and yt shee hath forfeited xxs. for every month since ye tenth day of Aprill last past. And wee doe order and continue ye penalty of xxs. amonth to bee forfeited by her until ye same way bee Laid open upon and made a ffree passage as anciently ye same hath beene.
