1. That the highwayes within the towne of Preston vizt the lane leading downe to broadgate, ye lane called ffryer lane leading to ye Marsh, ye lane leading from Spittle Mosse by ye Marsh, ye way from ffryergate barrs to Spittle Mosse, ye way leading downe to ye west moore, ye ways leading from ye east end of ye towne to Ribleton & Swillbrooke are all out of repaire & in very great decay & wee conceive yt xiijl. wold bee a competent sume towards ye repaire of ye same wayes.

2. Chrofer Greenfeild Esqre for stoping an ancient highway through a Croft called Hesketh Croft therefore to pay xxxs.

3. William Holme for setting upp apaire of railes of ffive yeards & a halfe long & one yeards from his wall therefore wee amerce him to pay vjs. viijd.

4. James Mosse for laying his earth to Baliffe Hughsons Wall to remove it wthin amonths time after notice given or to pay iijs. iiijd.

5. Lawrence Cowp for oppressing ye Commons by keeping CC? sheepe, four horses or Maires & two kine therefore wee amerce him to pay vli.

6. Thomas Cooke for keeping geese yt very often go unto Mispitt Well and Spoyles ye water, hee being no freeman. Wee amerce him to pay ye sume of vjs. viijd.

7. Chrofer Walmesley for letting his wood hangover Nicholas Cunliffe whoal[wall] and to cutt ye same upon notice given or to pay vjs. viijd.

8. Henry Wilding for not opening his watrcorse laying in ye way towards Swillbrooke to open ye same upon notice given or to pay vjs. viijd.

9. Henry Leach for Harbouring of a woman & a child not giving security to ye Towne. Therefore wee referr it to Mr Maior.

10. Mr John Chorley jun for Erecting apaire fo Seller Staires at his now house coming into ye street. Wee referr it to ye Maior & Councell at ye rent of vjd. ayeare.

11. Willm Werden gen for not scouring his ditch betwixt Mr Rigby & himself to bee done upon notice or to pay iijs. iiijd.

12. Chrofer Pearson servt to Mr Thomas Jepson for Laying Carrion in St Johns weend to the great annoyance of passengers coming yt way therefore wee amerce him to pay vjs. viijd.

13. Henry Leach for letting his Carts stand in ye street to ye great fource? & prjudice of all yt pass by therefore to pay iijs. iiijd.
