13. James Clayton & his wife for washing bowked yarne in ye Sicketrough & doe fine them in 6s. 8d.

Bowked yarn is yarn that has been washed in lye. Lye being Sodium Hydroxide or, more probably at this time, Potassium Hydroxide gathered from the ashes of fires.

14. Mr William Hobson and Thomas Cooke for Laying theire middings in the Street in ye ffishergate being a comon nusance and doe fine them in 6s. 8d. apiece if not removed before ye 25th of december next.

15. Ye Bayliffes for not repaireing ye ramper to the Sike troughs and doe fine them in 6s. 8d. if not done before the 20th of December next.

16. Jane Wall widdow for laying her midding stead to Thomas Graddells backside being a Comon nusance to ye said Thomas Graddell & his family & doe fine her in 10s if shee doe not remove the sd nusance on or before ye 24th December next.

17. Mr Roger Sudell the Elder for his midding Stead at ye back of the howse now in possession of George Drinkwaters being a Comon nusance to John Greenwood and doe fine him in 20s if hee doe not fill upp ye midding stead or take some other care to remove the said nusance on or before the 25th of December next.

18. Alderman Winkley for not keeping upp his copp at ye side of his wast ground lyeing to minspit weend and is a Comon nusance to ye Inhabitants of this Town goeing that way & doe fine him in 10s if not throwne upp or farryed a way on or before the first of December next.

19. Ye Butchers for not causeing the Shambles to be Cleansed and for killing sheep & Calfes out of theire Shopps and doe order yt such of the Butchers as doe break this order and prsentmt shall pay 2s. 8d. a time for every time they break the same.
