1. The Lane called Ribleton Lane, the Lane leading to Rible bridge, the lane leading down to Broadgate, the lane leading to the Marsh, Tulketh Lane, the Moor Lane, The Long Cawsey upon the Moor leading to Horse Bridge, and other the Highwayes and Cawseys within the Liberties of the said Town of Preston, are in decay and very much out of Repair. And therefore wee doe Amerce the Inhabitants of Preston aforesaid in the summe of ffifteen pounds for speedy Repair of the said Lanes, Highwayes and Cawseys according to the Statute.

2. The severall psons hereafter named ffor that they did not appear at this Court Leet being duly Summond by the Serjant and not haveing craved and had leave for their Absence And therefore wee doe Amerce each of them to pay twelve pence. vizt.

3. These psons following for turneing their horses to Pasture on the Spitle mosse contrary to the Orders in this Corporacon and before ye usuall allowed time And Amerce them to pay Three shillings and four pence a peece for soe doeing. vizt.

4. The Supervisors of the Highwayes in this Town for not repaireing the Bridge Leading to Wm Graystocks house And Amerce them in Six shillings and eight pence if not Repaired before the Twenty fourth of September next.

5. The said Supvisors for not setting a Raile att the bridge betwixt the Marshes belonging to Preston and Ashton & Amerce them in six shillings and eight pence if not done before the Twenty fourth of September next.

6. The said Supvisors for not Repaireing the Back weend And Amerce them in Twenty shillings unles done before the Twenty fourth of September next.

7. The Supvisors for not Repairing the way leading to the house of Correctcon, And Amerce them in Twenty shillings if not done before the Twenty fourth of September next.

8. John Woods the Elder for not scouring his ditch att Broadgate Lane end, and Amerce him in six shillings and eight pence if not done before ye Twenty fourth of September next.

9. Mrs Margret Woods of the Anker for causing the Muck and Sweeping of her Cawseys before her house to be turned into and washed down the channell to the prejudice of her Neighbours, And for soe doing Amerce her in six shillings and eight pence And to pay for every like Offence for the future six shillings and eight pence.

10. The said Mrs Woods for not Raileing or fencing or else filling up her deep and dangerous Middingsteed in St. Johns Weend tho' often formerly presented, and therefore Amerce her in Twenty shillings.

11. Richard Mawdsley that hee scour his ditch att the Higher end of Eager gate Lane leading up to the Tap?? Yates before the Twenty fourth of September next otherwise wee amerce him in six shillings and eight pence.

12. Mr Richard Langton and Mr Willm Shawe that they cause their ditches in Ribleton Lane to bee sufficiently cleansed and opened before the Twenty fourth of September next otherwise wee Amerce them in six shillings and eight pence a peece.

13. The psons following for them suffering their respective Middings to lye in the Back street or Lane in this Towne Called St. Johns weend to the Annoyance & hinderance of the Passage through the same, And doe Order them to cause the same Removed before the Twenty fourth of September next On paine of every one making default to fforfeit to the use of this Burrough six shillings and eight pence. vizt.

14. The Supvisors of the Highwayes within this Town that they cause the highway leading up into Ribleton Lane to bee sufficiently Rampired and Amended before the Twenty fourth of September next Otherwise wee Amerce them in Thirteene shillings and four pence.

15. Willm Greenhalgh for setting or Markeing Roger Mosses mark on his own sheep. And Amerce him for soe doing in six shillings and eight pence.

16. Mr Willm Slater the Owner of an house in St. Johns weend for not causeing covers layd over his seller windowes to the street where people generally passe And Amerce him in three shillings and four pence.
