1. The psons following for their not appeareing att this Court Leet within menconed they haveing had due summons thereto, And doe Amerce them for such their defaults in Six shillings eight pence a peece. vizt.

Adam Cooper, John Yates, Thomas Evans, Richard Jackson, Henry Bostock, John Leckmore, William Tomlinson, Alexr Gibson, Henry Barnes, Timothy Aitough, Henry Clayton, Thomas Jackson, William Bayley, Richard Crosse, Edward Gregson, John Rawlinson, George Bennet, James Dolphin, Thomas Birches, John Sanderson, Tho. Burton husb., Edmund Bostock, Nathaniel Knott.

2. The psons following were Returned and severally called to have served on the Jury at the said Court but they made default and were therefore ffined by the Court to pay thirteen shillings four pence a peece.

Mr Samuel Bolton, Mr Richd Hartley, Mr John Green, John Cooke.

3. John Clayton and William Markland for setting their Carts in the publick street to the danger of passing in the night time, and do Amerce them in Six shillings eight pence a peece.

4. The psons following for not Inrolling their Apprentices according to the Guild order And Amerce them in Ten shillings a peece. vizt.

5. The psons following for not scoureing their respective ditches and not lopping their severall hedges in the North meadow lane haveing had notice and sufficient time allowed by us, and yet not done. Therefore wee Amerce them in five shillings a peece. vizt.

6. The Bayliffs of this Town for not causeing the Draw well in the ffishergate to bee repaired they haveing had notice and sufficient time allowed by us for the repaireing of the same, therefore wee Amerce them in Twenty shillings.

7. The psons following for not setting Rales or yates before their Sellar staires in the streets (they haveing had notice and time allowed) And wee doe amerce them in three shillings four pence a peece. vizt.

8. The psons following for laying theire middings in the Backweend commonly called St Johns Weend, to the Annoyance thereof for which wee Amerce them in three shillings four pence a peece. vizt.

9. The Supravisors of the Highwayes for not repaireing the way att the west end of the ffree school (they haveing had notice and sufficient time allowed) ffor which wee Amerce them in Ten shillings.

10. Mr Winckley and Thomas Woodborn for not scoureing their ditches by the side of the Broad Meadow (they haveing had notice & sufficient time allowd and yet not done) wherefore wee amerce them in Six shillings eight pence a peece.

11. The psons following for not scoureing their ditches & not lopping their hedges, nor makeing Platts in the South meadow lane (they haveing had notice & sufficient time allowed & yet not done) And therefore wee Amerce them in Six shillings eight pence a peece. vizt.

12. Richard Stanley Esqre for letting his midding lye in the ffishergate to the annoyance of the Inhabitants there and not causeing the same to bee removed (tho' hee had notice given and time allowed) wherefore wee Amerce him in three shillings four pence.

13. Mr Willm Patten and Elizabeth Tootell widdow for not scoureing their ditches nor opening and amending their gripps or platts in the ffishergate lane (they haveing had sufficient time given & not done) wherefore wee amerce them in three shillings four pence a peece.

14. Mrs Margret Woods for not repaireing the fence betwixt her and Roger Mosse in the ffishergate Lane close and doe Amerce her in Six shillings eight pence.

15. Timothy Aitough for not repaireing his ffence by the side of the Cuckstoole pitt upon the Peele Moore, and doe Amerce him in Six shillings eight pence.

16. Mr Winckley for not removeing the great Midding out of Robert Walshmans backside (which is a great Nusance and hurtfull to the Butchers Shopps adjoineing thereto) for which wee Amerce him in Twenty shillings if not removed before the tenth day of August next and that notice bee given of this prsentmt.

17. The Bayliffs for not repaireing the Cartway in St. Johns weend which is very much out of Repaire and unpassable, And wee leave it to Mr Mayor and the Councell to give necessary orders about amending the same.

18. The psons followeing as Inmates haveing no legall settlemt in this Burrough therefore to bee Stallenged or Removed out of the Town according as shall bee thought fitt by Mr Mayor and the Councell. vizt.

19. Mr Roger Sudell the Elder for not removeing his midding lyeing on the west side of Minspitt weend wch is very nauceous and prejudiciall to Thomas Gregson and others liveing neare the same, And doe order that notice be given to Mr Sudell hereof, and if not removed before the ffifteenth of August next wee Amerce him in the Summ of Twenty shillings.
