1. Mr Alderman Addison, Mr Henry Taylor, Mr Edwd ffarnworth and Henry Heaton late Supvisors of the high way for not making and giving up their Accts to the succeeding Supvisors for wch wee do amerce them in 40s.

2. Richd Jackson for refuseing to send his Cart to the high Ways tho' due notice was given him for wch offence wee amerce him in six shillings eight pence.

3. George Rishton for coming into this Town and keeping a publick house being no ffreeman of this Corporacon and refuseing to make himself free, for wch offence wee amerce him in forty shillings.

4. Evan Werden for geting Whinns upon Peele Moor without leave and amerce him in six shillings Eight pence.

5. The highway or street called St Johns Weend, the highway or Lane called Ribleton Lane and all or most of the publick high ways and Cawseys in the said Town of Preston and the libties thereof and in decay and much out of repaire And therefore wee doe amerce the Inhabitants of Preston aforesaid in the Sume of twelve pounds for speedy repair of the Said Lane, Highways and Cawseys according to the Statute.

6. The persons following for not repairing their sevrall Cawseys before their housing and not removing their Middings. vizt.

Tho: Molyneux Esqre, Sir Chrofer Greenfeild Kt., Willm Dawson, Mr Wm Wall, Mr Patten, Mr Parkinson, Mr Tho: Gradwell, Mr Johnson and doe amerce them in three shillings four pence.

7. John Clayton, James Green and William Markland for seting of their Carts in the publick streets to the danger of passing in the night time and doe amerce them in three shillings four pence a peice.

8. All the Inhabitants of this Town that keep any Swine that they get them ringd and further that they turn them not into the Streets before the Swinherd goes to the Moor nor suffer them to goe in the Streets after they come home, And every person offending agt this prsentmt in any respect Wee doe amerce them in One Shilling for each Swine soe going out & not ringed as aforesd.

9. Henry Graystock for bringing Wood from the Water side to Mr Cliftons upon the Sabbath day for wch wee fine him in three shillings four pence.

10. Henry Turnley for suffering his house of Office to run through Chrofer Pearsons Stable to the great damage & prjudice of the Wall belonging to Mr Alderman Lemon wch, if not amended & the water course turned, at or before the first day of July next do amerce him in 10s.

11. Alexr Gibson for an Incroachmet in the high way leading to the house of Coreccon by by sticking thorns therein for which offence wee fine him in three shillings four pence and also John Hackin for not lopping his hedge in the same Lane and amerce him in 3s. 4d.

12. The Scavinger William Lytham for not taking and carrying away the Dung out of the Streets in reasonable time after the same in raked together , sometimes leting it ly til the latter end of the Week. For not doing his duty herein Wee amerce him in Six shillings Eight pence.

13. Mr Bainster Governer of the house of Coreccon for leting his fence ly down betwixt the Lands he holds undr Richard Cowband and a close of ground belonging to Mr Tho: Werden called the New Meadow lying at the Marsh side and doe amerce him in ten shillings.

14. The Bayliffes for not repaireing the Stile and Cawsey at the bottam of Minspitt Weend and do amerce them in xiijs. iiijd.

15. Wee prsent (as formerly has been done) Widow Yates for her house of Office being erected on the Towns Wast in St Johns Weend being both an Incroachmt and an Annoyance & nusance to the neighbourhood wch being ordred to be removed by the last Inquest of Office on pain of xxs. but the same not being as yet done wee doe amerce in her xxs. more.

16. Mr Alderman Chorley for an Eavesing dropping upon John Jamesons house prsented by the Inquest of Office and not yet removed. Wee amerce him in vjs. viijd.

17. Mr Wm Rylands, Mr Luke Hodgkinson junr & Geo: Merry for not appearing and serving upon this Jury Leet tho' Summoned for ye purpose and doe fine them in iijs. iiijd. a peice.

18. Alice Graystock and Ann Graystock Widows for harbouring wandering, idle people & strangers and for this offence doe amerce them in iijs. iiijd. a peice.

19. Mr James Clifton, Mr Wm Walmsley, Richd Cross and James Holt for puting their Geese on the Marsh & Spittle Moss and do amerce them in five shillings a peice.

20. Hugh Gornell & Ruth Hudson for not seting a Rail at ye Bridge leading to Dow banck at the bottam of Hanging Brow and do amerce them in Six shillings Eight pence a peice.

21. The psons following for not pareing their Ditch Copps to make passage for Carts through the Lane leading to Mawdland. vizt. James Green, Geo: Drinkwater, James Holt, Wm Gregson Taylor, Hugh Gurnall, Henry Barnes junr, Wm Markland
