1. The psons following for not removeing their Middins from the respective places where they now lye at the Church gate Townend. vizt.

Ellis Guest, Richd Livesay, Henry Merry, Jno Clayton, Mat? Sharples, Widdw Slater, Jno. Rhodes, Jno Hodgkinson, Richd Noblet, Henry Heaton, Jno Slater. And if the Same be not removed on or before the first day of Aprill next we Amerce the said Several psons in the Sum of Six Shillings Eight pence a piece.

2. The Bayliffes for not repairing the Cawseway betwixt the Cockerhole & the Churchgate Barrs & a Well at Noblets & if not done before Midsumer next we Amerce them in 20s.

3. The Supvisors of the Highways for not repairing the Cawsey leading from this Town to Ribleton lane & the Ramparts there & if not done before Midsumer next to pay the like Sum of 20s.

4. The Several psons following. vizt.

Richd Moss, Jno: Bostock, Hen: Audland, James Green & Geo: Rishton for not repairing their plats & opening & scouring their Ditches in Ribleton lane, And if not done before the first of April next we Amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence apiece.

5. The Supvisors for not repairing the Cawseway & Platts in the said Ribleton lane & if it not done before the 24th of June next we do Amerce them in the Sum of forty Shillings.

6. Henry Merry, Thomas Walne, Adam Cooper, Mr Langton, John Hardman & Henry Heaton for not Scouring their Ditches in Dacregate lane & if not done before the first of May next we Amerce them in the Sum of 10s. a piece.

7. Mr Jno Winder & Jno Clayton for not Scouring their Ditches & opening their Plats & Mr Adam Cooper & Richd Myers for not opening their plats in New Hall lane & if not done before the first of May next we Amerce them Severally neglecting in the Sum of 6s. 8d. a piece.

8. The Supvisors of the High ways for not repairing the way & Platts in New Hall-lane all along to the Brook leading to Fishwick & Rampart in the narrow way leading to Swillbrooke & if not done before the 24th June next we amerce them in the Sum of forty Shillings.

9. Mr Bushell & Mr William Wall for not Setting Rails before their Cellars & Mr Parkinson for not doing the like before his Cellar Stairs at the Watchmakers Shop. If not done before the first of Aprill next we fine them each in the Sum of ten Shillings apiece.

10. Wm Hardman for laying his wood in the Fryergate & if not removed before the 1st of April next we Amerce him in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence.

11. William Tomlinson, Tho: Holmes, Wm. Holmes, Jno Jameson, Robt Gurnall, Jno Clayton & Peter Graystock for laying their Middins in the Highway at the Fryergate Town end. And if not removed before the first of Aprill next we do amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence apiece.

12. Mr Stanley Werden for not covering the place he had opened to the Mill Fleam & the Marsh If not done before the 1st of Aprill next we Amerce him in the Sum of three Shillings four pence.

13. Mr Clifton for an Incroachmt before his new House at the Marsh And for erecting a Brick wall at the end of his Said House Where the Boundary Should be & Do Amerce him in the Sum of fifty Shillings.

14. The Supvisors for not repairing the way between the Watery Lane End & Tulketh Hall & the way at the Moor yate at the bottom of the Sandy Hill, if not done before the 24th of June next we Amerce them in the Sum of Forty Shillings.

15. Mr Atherton for not Setting up a Style in the foot way leading to Hatch Mill & also Jno Whalley & Richard Cowband for not makeing a Sufficient Plat & a Style in the Comon footway leading betwixt Spitles Moss & Mr Law: Walls if not done before the 1st April next we Amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence a piece.

16. Richd Cowband for stopping the footway betwixt the Marsh & the Moor & Amerce him in the Sum of ten Shillings.

17. James Green the Occupier of Bannister Grounds for not Setting a Wear at the watering place at the moor yate & if not done before the first of April next we amerce him in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence.

18. The Several occupiers of grounds lying on each side of Salter lane for not Scouring the Ditches all along both sides of the sd lane if not done before the 1st of May next we amerce them in the Sum of 6s. 8d. apiece.

19. Richd Jackson for not repairing the brick Pillar at the side of Harrison Barne the same being in great dangr of falling upon her Majties Liege people that Shall pass in the High way by the said Barne And if not done before the 1st of April next we Amerce him in the Sum of twenty Shillings.

20. George Longworth for laying his wood in the Street at the end of St. Johns lane & Hugh Clitherall, Jno Rideing & Wm Lytham for laying & Suffering their middins to lye in the same Street, which if not removed respectively before the 1st of April next we Amerce the Sd Severall offenders in the Sum of 6s. 8d. a peice.

21. Richd. Moss, Geo: Rishton & High Clitherall for laying their middins in the weend or Street over agt the Church & the South end of the same weend which if not removed before the 1st of April next we amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings Eight pence a piece.

22. Mrs? Whitehead, Robt Almond & Richard Jackson for laying their wood in the Church Street at the Side of the Church yard wall & Suffering the same to lye there for a long time by past to the dangr of her Majties leige people that shall pass thro' the Sd Street especially in the night time & Amerce them in the Sum of fifty Shillings a piece.

23. Richd Jackson for laying his wood at his new house in Church Street too far into the Said Street & if not removed before the 1st of May next we amerce him in the Sum of Six shillings Eight pence.

24. Mr Adam Cooper & Tho: Sudell for Suffering their wood to lye in the Cockerhole which if not removed before the 1st of April next we amerce them in 6s. 8d. apiece.

25. The said Mr Cooper & Nic Starkie Esq. for not removing their Middins out of the respective places where they lye in Cocker hole & also Mr Chorley for laying two Middins in the way before his Barne at the Syke Hill. If not removed before the 1st of April next we Amerce them in the Sum of 6s. 8d. apiece.

26. Mr Parkinson, Mrs Winckley, Mr Chorley, Mr Winckley & Jno Harrison of Lea for not repairing the way by the waterside leading out of the Boatfield into the Broad Meadow & not makeing Platts over the Ditches where the footway lyes which if not done before the 24th June next we Amerce them in the Sum of five pounds apiece.

27. Mr Francks, Mr Atherton, Robt Fogg & David Browne for not Scouring their Ditches in North Meadow lane & Maddm Sudell & Hen: Rowbottoam for not Scouring their Ditches in Broadgate lane which if not done before the first of June next we Amerce them in ye Sum of 6s. 8d. apiece.

28. Mr Stanley, Mr Addison & Mr Winckley for laying their Middins in the Highway below fishergate Barrs & also Jno Hardman for laying wood & two Middins in the Fishergate & the said Mr Stanley & James Hodgkinson for laying Middins & Jno Cook for laying Clay ther which if not removed before the 1st of April next We amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings eight pence apiece.

29. The Supvisors for makeing an Incroachmt on Mr Addisons Ground in the Fishergate lane by paving & laying a Cawseway where the said Mr Addisons Ditch formerly was And that if the said Incroachmt be not removed before the 24th of June next we Amerce them in the Sum of forty Shillings.

30. The Bayliffs for not repairing the Moor yate & the Cuckstoole which if not done before the 1st of April next we Amerce them in the Sum of one pound Six shillings & eight pence.

31. Richd Myers, James Atkinson & Jno Bayley for not filling up the way on the Moor where they cast their clay if not done before the first of June next We amerce them in the Sum of Six Shillings Eight pence apiece.

32. Wm Wasle als Johnson for not repairing the Butts at Spittle Moss which if not done before Eastr we Amerce him in 6s. 8d.

33. Joseph Gurnall, Richd Graddell, Robt Whittle & James Green for laying their Middins in the Highway at the Pinfold Which if not removed before the first of May we Amerce them in 6s. 8d. apiece.

34. Richd Bray, Widdw Hatch, Wm Arkwright, Ellis Oraddey?, Law: Salter, Hen: Barnes junr, Alderman Graddell, Richd Fairclough, James Harrison, Hugh Gornell, Henry Leach & Mr Kitchen for laying their Middins in the Fryergate in obstruction of the passage thro the Highway which if not removed before first of May we Amerce them in 6s. 8d. apiece.

35. Thomas Watson for not repairing his Barn being in dangr of falling upon her Majties Leige people that shall pass in the Highway by it & if not repaired before the first of Aprill next we amerce him in five pounds.

36. Jno Colly for not filling up a hole lying near Patten field being very dangerous for her Majties leige people that shall pass that way especially in the night time & do Amerce him in the Sum of Six Shillings & Eight pence.

37. Jno Walton, Mr Parkinson & Cha: Holcroft for laying their wood in Backstreet called St. Johns Weend which if not removed before first of April next we amerce them in 6s. 8d. apiece.

38. Mr Graddell, Mr Wall, Mr Jno Nock, Mr Rishton, Tho: Greenhalgh, Mr Garlick & Mr Seed for laying their middins in the said back Weend called St. Johns Weend or lane which if not removed before first of April next We Amerce them in 6s. 8d. a piece.

40. Madm Sudell for not laying a foot Bridge over Swillbrook at the foot of Avenham. If not done before the first of May next we amerce her in ten shillings.

41. The Several Butchers for Slaughtering in the Shambles of this Town & Amerce them in the Sum of five pounds a piece.

42. The Occupiers of Whiteacres for not makeing a Sufficient Platt by Mr Lemons Almeshouse & if not done before 1st of Aprill next we amerce them in the Sum of ten shillings a peice.

43. Catherine Johnson for washing Cow Bellys at the Minspitt Well & Amerce her in the Sum of forty Shillings.

44. Thomas Roscoe & Catherine Johnson, Widdw Wilson & Ellen Greenhalgh Widdw for not keeping up their Swine in their Hogstyes & amerce them in thirteen Shillings four pence a piece.
