Presentments : —

1. The Supvisors of the High Ways for not repairing the bridge at Broadgate end for not paleing the washing pan and paveing the Cawsey in the ffishergate Lane and John Cook, John Newsham, Robert ffogg and Peter Taylor for not Scouring their ditches in the sd Lane and do amerce them the said last named psons in forty shillings a peice if not repaired & Scoured before the first of July And we also prsent the Supvisors aforesaid for not repairing the highway at Broadgate end leading to the River and do amerce them in five pounds if not repaired within the time aforesaid.

2. The said Supvisors of the Highways for not repairing the Rampier in the Marsh Lane to be repaired on or before the first of July next.

3. The Bayliffes for not Caw[l]ing at the Marsh for the prservation thereof and do amerce them in twenty pounds if not done before the first of August next.

4. The Bayliffes for not repairing the Cawsey leading into the Whittakers near Mr Mayors Barne and do amerce them in forty shillings if not done before the first day of July next.

5. The Bayliffes for not repairing the Railes in Cockerhole and do amerce them in twenty Shillings if not repaired before the first of July next.

6. Charles Holdroft for laying Wood in the Back Weend to the obstructing the passage of the High way & dangerous to persons passing in the night time and do amerce him in forty shillings if not removed on or before the twenty fourth of July next.

7. The Supvisors for not repairing the High way called Ribleton Lane and if not done on or before the first of July next do amerce them in three pounds.

8. The Severall psons following for keeping disorderly houses. vizt.

John ffell, Anne Greenough, widow, Widow Hall at the blew Ball

and do amerce them for the Said offences in forty shillings a peice.

9. Benjamin Cardwell for not repairing the highway leading from the Hole house to the Marsh and do amerce him in three pounds if not done on or before the first day of July next.

10. The Severall psons following for laying Middings within the Streets and out of the Barrs being a prjudice to the Kings Highway to wit.

Wm Rawstrone Esqre, William Wall Gen, Thomas Greenhalgh, Thomas Garlick, Thomas Seed Gent, Richd Dicconson, William Gregson, Robert Gurnall, Widow Serjeant, Ellis Guest, Richd Whitehead Gent and Richard Langton Gent and do amerce them in thirteen Shillings & four pence a peice if not removed before the first of July next.

11. John Sumner, James Grundy & John Threlfall for geting Sodds of the Moor and do amerce them Severally in twenty shillings.

12. John Hardman for laying Wood at the ffisher gate barrs to the obstructing & hindering the passage in the Street & High way if not removed on or before the first of July next do amerce him in ten shillings.

13. The Severall psons following for not appearing & doing their Suite and Service at this Court Leet having had due notice of the said Court and having no leave for their absence from Mr Recorder and do amerce them in Six Shillings Eight pence a peice. vizt.
