Richard Graddwell, Jno Allen, Joseph Gurnall, Geo: Graystock, Hen: Leach, David Browne, Hen: Fisher, Jno Jameson, James Harrison, Mr Wm Graddwell, Nic: Kellet, Tho: Greenhalgh, Thos Riley, Tho: Woan & Mr Wm Wall for annoying ye Streets & highway by laying wood or tymber therein & if not removed on or before ye second of February next do fine 'em in vjs. viijd.

3. Richard Atherton Esq., Hugh Clitherall & Willm Lytham for ye like offence & do ffine 'em in vjs. viijd. Each.

4. Ye Bayliffes of this Burrough for neglecting to repair ye ffootway betwixt ye School house & ye Gate going on to Avenham And likewise for not paveing & repairing the Lane lying betwixt the two Gardens at Avenham leading to ye Walks And do Ordr 'em to repair the same on or before ye first of March next of do ffine 'em in five pounds.

5. Ye Supvisors of ye highways for want of repairing & laying more open the highway & Rampart betwixt the Town end of ye ffryergate Moor Lane & a Style called Helme Style And do Ordr ye same to be sufficiently paved & laid open for Carts & Carriages to meet & pass according as ye way lately done at ye bottom of Churchgate leading to Walton And do Ordr the same to be sufficiently done on or before ye first of March next or ffine ye sd Supvisors in the sume of fifty pounds Each.

6. Richard Arkwright for pulling up a Stile in ye back Weend Opposite to a house lately called Watson house and Stopping ye usual foot Way there over ye Croft & thro' ye sd Richd Arkwright's house into ffryergate And do Ordr him to fix a Style in the old usual place in three days time after this prsentmt delivered or do fine him in ten pounds.

7. Ye sd Bayliffes of this Burrough for not drawing of the Water now standing in ye Street Leading to ye Tyth Barn to the great Annoyance of the highway & Especially to James Moore & several othr psons that have occasion to pass & repass that way to their several buildings And it is the Opinion of this Jury that ye sd Watercourse should be made down the Weend Opposite to the Church & so to run into Cockerhole & do Ordr the same to be done Accly? on or before ye ffirst of March next or We do ffine the sd Bayliffes in the sume of ten pounds.

8. The several psons following for setting Casks & Barrels in the Street to ye Annoyance thereof. vizt.

9. Thomas Townley Esq., for not laying a Board at the head of his Cellar Stairs before the house where he lives & do Ordr the same to be done on or before ye the first of January (the same being dangerous to his Majties Liege people) or do fine him in vjs. viijd.

10. Ye Supvisors of ye highways for not repairing ye Cawsey from Churchgate Barrs to ye Almshouse And do Ordr them to repair the same sufficiently on or before ye first of March next or do fine 'em in ten pounds Each.

11. The several persons following not appearing at this Court Leet to do suit & service thereat haveing timely notice & Sumons to Attend & no leave from Mr Recorder to Excuse their absence.
