The several Occupiers of Land on Each side the lane near Sherburns between the Moors for not opening & scouring their Ditches there & if they do not open & scour the same in three weeks after notice We Amerce them in 6s. 8d. a piece.

John Cook for not repairing the pavement in the street before his house in Mr Peter Pedders possion & if he do not cause the same to be sufficiently paved in a Week after notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

Revd Mr Peploe & Robert Ingham for severally laying or Causing Rubbish to be laid in the Tyth Barn Street & if they do not cause the same to be taken away in a week after Notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. a piece.

John Laws for laying Wood in the same Street & if he do not remove it in a Week after Notice We Amerce him in 3s. 4d.

The Bailiffs of the sd Burrough for a Neglect of their duty in not cleaning the Wells at the Sykes and the Syke Troughs & if they do not cause the same to be cleaned in a Week after notice We amerce them in 13s. 4d.

Mr John Walshman for not opening & scouring the Ditch from the Alms house lane to the Broadgate End and if he do not cause the same to be opened and scoured in a Week after notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

Thos Whittle and John Cook for not opening for not opening and scouring their Ditches at the Entrance into Cliffe Lane and if they don't open and scour the same in a Week after notice we amerce them in 3s. 4d. a piece.

David Brown for not repairing a Platt in south meadow lane and if he do not repair the same in a Week after notice We amerce him in ten shillings.

The Supervisors of the highways for not repairing the foot platt at Broadgate End and the Ramper between the Bridge there and the sd platt and also for not opening and repairing the plat near the Fishergate Almshouse and if they do not repair and open the same in a Month after notice We amerce them in 20s.

The Bailiffs of the sd Burrough for negelcting their Duty in their Office in not Cawling to preserve the March from being Wasted and taken away by the Water and also in not repairing the Causeway between Avenham Garden and in not repairing the Fishergate Barrs And if they do not Cawl to preserve the sd Marsh at the next proper season for that purpose and repair the sd Causeway & Barrs in a Week after Notice We amerce them in three pounds.

The several Occupiers of the Lands on each side the South Meadow lane for not Scouring their Ditches in the sd Lane and if they do not open and scour the same in ten days after notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. severally.

The Bailiffs of the sd Burrough for neglect of their Duty in not repairing the street before Mr Andertons also in not repairing the street near the fryergate Bars also in not repairing the Shooting Buts on the Spittle Moss also in not repairing the street below the fryergate Bars and in not cleaning the Common pound or Pinfold & repairing the pump at the head of backweend & all the Causways and pavements in the said Weend. And if they do not repair and clean the same in a Week after notice We amerce them £5.

Robert Abbatt for laying Wood. John Winstanley, John Carter & John Hadock for severally laying Middings & Rubbish in the highway near the Churchgate Bars and continueing the same there to the Great Annoyance of the said highway And if they do not Cause the same to be taken away in a Week after Notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. each.

Thos Silcock and Ellen Johnson Widow for severally annoying the highway in Ribbleton Lane by laying Middings and rubbish there and if they do not Cause the same to be removed in a Week after notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. a piece.

Robert Clayton for annoying the highway below Churchgate Bars by laying Lime & Rubbish therein & if he do not removed the same in ten days after notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

Mr _____ Pearson for neglecting to open & scour a Ditch in the new Hall Lane adjoining to her lands there & if she do not Cause the same to be opened & scoured in a Week after notice we amerce her in 6s. 8d.

The supervisors of the highways for not fixing Stoops in the sd Lane to keep the Carts of the Causeway there & if they do not Cause a sufficient Number of good stoops to be fixed there in a month after notice We amerce them in 13s. 4d.

Robert Taylor for laying a Midding in the same lane to the great Annoyance of the highway there & if he do not remove it in a Week after notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

The Exectrs of Duncan Wright decd for want of a rail to the Cellar stairs in Mr Henry Butler's possion which lie open to the street to the great danger of all people passing that way & if they do not fix a rail to the sd cellar Stairs or Cover the same in a week after notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d.

Mr Richd Prescott for not scouring his Watercourse at the back of Widow Riddyhalgh's house and if he do not scour the same in a week after notice We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

Richd Livesay, Wm Graystock, Wm Walmesley & James Holcroft for laying Middings in the highway below fryergate Bars wherewith the sd way is much annoyed and if they do not take [the] same away in a Week after notice We amerce them severally 6s. 8d.
