The Bailiffs of the said Burrough for neglecting to perform their Duty in their Offices in not repairing the pump in back Weend Which for want of such repair is become of not use and also in not amending the pavements in the Street in Churchgate near the house lately in the possion of the Earl of Derby and also in the street near the Bulls head which are broken & much out of Order & if they do not repair & amend the same in a Fortnight after notice We amerce them in 20s.

Mr Richd Assheton, John Wilkinson, Thos Alsop, James Taylor & Thomas Richardson for obstructing & Annoying the highway near ffishergate bars by laying Middings & rubbish therein & if they do not removed the sd Middings & rubbish in a Week after Notice We amerce them in 6s. 8d. Each.

Edwd Noblet for laying rubbish in the highway near the brewhouse and also for keeping swine in a place adjoining to the sd highway Which is Very Troublesome & Offensive to all psons passing thro' ye sd Way And if he do not removed the sd rubbish in a Week after notice hereof & also after such notice forbear the keeping of swine in the sd place We Amerce him in 6s. 8d.

John Winckley Esq., for an Incroachment in the Common ffields & Amerce him in 40s.

Rigby Molyneux Esq., for suffering a Cellar in the ffryergate to lie open to ye Street for Want of a rail or ffence before the same to the great danger of all persons passing that Way And also for laying rubbish & Timber in the Street in the Backweend wherewith ye sd Street is much annoyed & if he do not fix a rail or Sufficient ffence before the sd Cellar & remove & Carry away the sd Rubbish in a Week after notice We amerce him in 30s.

Mr _____ Waring, Michael Miller, Ellen Read, Thos Bamber, Lawrence Salter, Mathew Cuerden, John Braday, Robert Riley, Peter Hodgkinson, Henry Hodgkinson, Tho Coop, Robert Lytham, Mr Wm Harrison, Peter Pedder, Richard Graystock, Wm Graystock, Joshua Dixon, John Horrabin, Michael Gudgean, _____ Shakeshaft, Geo: Osbaldeston, Roger Jameson, Wm Porter, James Holcroft, Henry Barns ye elder, Tho Walsh, Edwd Blackburn, Wm Graystock paver, John Whalley, Thos Sudell, Mr Wm Loxham, Roger Scarisbrick, John Winstanley, _____ Gregson Widow & John Danson for severally laying Rubbish in the Streets in this Twon & thereby much Annoying the same And if they do not take away the sd Rubbish in a Week after Notice We amerce Each person neglecting so to do in 3s. 4d.

Robert Hall for incumbering the highway in Churchgate by laying several Cart loads of potato tops therein and if he do not remove the same in a Week after notice We Amerce him in 5s.

Benjamin Whitehead, Wm Walmsley, Mr Richd Pedder and Mr Lancellot Butler for severally laying Wood & Tymber in the Streets & highways within this Town & the Liberties thereof And therewith very much Annoying the sd Streets and highways And if they do not take away the same in a Week after notice We amerce every one of them neglecting or refusing to do so in 6s. 8d.

Henry Robinson, Katherine Bailey, Jonathan Anderton, Thos Whittle, Ellen Johnson widow and Peter Melling for turning their Swine into ye Streets of this Town & for feeding them therein. And if they continue to do so after notice hereof we amerce them in 10s a peice.

Mr Nich Walmsley for laying Dung, Midding & rubbish in the Market place in Preston afd & suffering the same to lie there to the great Annoyance of the sd Street & if he do not take the same away in a Week after notice We amerce him in 5s.
