Presentments — the Jury consisting of 42 persons, all duly sworn : —

1. Lancellot Butler for not fixing a Rail to the ffoot Bridge at the ffurther end of the Corner Gap; and if he don't do the same on or before the 25th of March next We Amerce him in 13s. 4d.

Corner Gap being a field forming the south-west corner of what is now Avenham Park, and close to the Ribble.

2. Mrs. Chorley for the like offence in the next ffield, leading toward the Boat; and if she don't do the same in the like time We Amerce her in the like sum of 13s. 4d.

3. Thomas Becket for not laying a Bridge and fixing a Rail at the further end of the Broad Meadow leading towards the Boat and if he don't do the same in the like time We amerce him in 13s. 4d.

4. The same for not fixing a Rail to the ffoot Bridge in the Field next adjoining And if he don't fix the same up in the like time We Amerce him in 13s. 4d.

5. John Winckley, Esquire, for enclosing part of the Comon ffields & if he don't pull the same down on or before the ffirst of May next We amerce him in £100.

6. The Supervisors of the Highways for not repairing a Platt adjoining to the Comon ffields And if they don't repair the same on or before the 25th of March next We amerce him in 20s.

7. The same for not laying a Bridge in the ffootway leading from the ffishergate Lane End to the Marsh And if they don't do the same in the like time We amerce them in 20s.

8. Thomas Alford for several Incroachments in the Comon fields.

10. Lawyer Aspinal for not scouring his Watercourse adjoining to the ffishergate lane And if he don't scour and cleanse the same on or before the 25th of March next We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

11. Isabel Hudson for the like Offence in the ffishergate Lane and if she don't scour and cleanse the same in the like time We amerce her in the like sum.

12. Mr John Wilkinson for making a Saw pit in the ffishergate Lane and laying a piece of Wood there And if he don't fill up the Saw pitt and remove the Wood on or before the 25th of March next We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

13. Mr Thos. Woodcock, Mr Lancellot Butler, Joseph Platt and Thomas Walker for laying Rubbidge in the ffishergate Lane And if they don't severally remove the same on or before the 25th of March next We amerce them in 6s. 8d each.

14. Mr Thomas Alsop, Mr Edward Sharrock, William Lorimer, Mr John Bolton, Thomas Alford, Lawrence Pemberton and John Cooke for laying their Dunghills and Ashes in ffishergate And if they don't remove the same on or before the 25th of March next We amerce them in 10s. each.

15. The Bailiffs for not repairing the ffishergate Barrs And if they don't repair the same in the like time after notice We amerce them in 10s.

16. The Bailiffs for not repairing the pavement in the ffishergate and if they don't repair the same on or before the first day of May next We amerce them in 6s. 8d.

17. The Bailiffs for not repairing the Shooting Butts on Spittle Moss and if they don't repair the same in the like time We amerce them in 6s. 8d.

18. The Supervisors of the Highways for not repairing the Bridge at the bottom of the house of Correction lane And if they don't repair the same on or before the 25th of March next We amerce them in 6s. 8d.

19. Joseph Platt for laying Rubbish on Spittle Moss And Amerce him in 6s. 8d. for such Offence.

20. Richard Livesay for laying a Midding in the Moor lane And if he don't remove the same on or before the 16th of March next We amerce him in 13s. 4d.

21. Richard Walmesley for laying some Wood in the lane near the Pinfold And if he don't remove the same on or before the 25th of March next We Amerce him in 13s. 4d.

22. James Taylor for laying a Midding at the End of the Back lane And if he don't remove the same in the like time We amerce him in 13s. 4d.

23. Robert Beckonsall for laying Wood at the ffriargate Barrs And if he don't remove it in the like time We amerce him in 6s. 8d.

24. The Bailiffs for not repairing the Syke Well and fflaggs and raising a side Stone And if they don't do the same on or before the 1st of May next We amerce them in 13s. 4d.

25. The five following Butchers being Tenants to Mr Henry Cowburne to wit Thomas Birchal, John Wyke, John Hodgkinson, Richard Rawlinson and James Rawlinson for Carrying their Excrements out of the Mitre Shambles and laying the same in the Market place being a public nusance and ffine them in 10s a piece.

26. Stephen Ellot for suffering his little House to lye open to the Comon high road which is a Nusance to Persons passing and repassing And amerce him in 13s. 4d.

27. Mary Cooke for not repairing her ffence adjoining to a Garden belonging to Henry Hardman in the ffriergate And if she does not repair the same before the 25th of March We amerce her in 10s.

28. Robert Tompson, Henry Shepherd, John Jackson Taylor the Occupant of Ann Seed's house, Abraham Lingard and William Beesley for not opening their Ditches and making their Fences adjoining to Bart. Duckworth's orchard late Colley's And if they do not severally open their Ditches and repair their ffences before the 25th March next We amerce them in 10s. a piece.

29. The Executors or Occupants of Mr Cowband's house in the ffryergate for not Building a Wall between theire Backside and the Backyard now in possion of Mrs Jane Parker And if the same is not done on or before the 1st of May next We amerce them in 10s.

30. John Westby and his servants for Washing his Silks in the Sike Well And We amerce him in 20s. for such offence.
