1. James Knowles of the Borough aforesaid Gentleman for not opening and Scouring a certain Water Course along the side of a Close of Ground adjoining the foot path leading from Avenham brow towards Penwortham Bridge and if not opened and Scoured within fourteen days after Notice we amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.

2. The said Mr James Knowles for not repairing a Stone Trough Standing in Avenham Brow for want of which repair the adjoining Road is frequently overflowed with water and if not repaired in fourteen Days after Notice we amerce him in the sum of 6s. 8d.

3. Thomas Cooper of the Borough aforesaid Innkeeper for not repairing a Stile near a Certain Brook called Swill Brook in the Foot Road leading from Avenham to Walton and if such Stile is not repaired within fourteen Days after notice We amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.

4. William Brandreth of the Borough aforesaid Currier for not Making proper Soughs or Drains for carrying off the Filth and Dirt proceeding from two Nesessary Houses above the Middle Sike for want whereof such filth and Dirt frequently runs into and Corrupts the water in such Sike and if not done in Twenty Eight Days after notice we amerce him in the sum of £2. 2s. 0d.

5. The Mayor, Bailiffs and Burgesses of the said Borough for not repairing the Stone Platt in Stonygate and if not repaired in fourteen Days after Notice We amerce them in the Sum of 13s. 4d.

6. The said Mayor, Bailiffs and Burgesses for not repairing the Road leading to the Necessary belonging to the Sike School and if not repaired in twenty Eight days after Notice we Amerce them in the Sum of £3. 3s. 0d.

7. James Cheetham of the Borough aforesaid for not repairing the Road leading to the Gardens in the Whittakers within the Borough aforesaid And property and if not Repaired in fourteen Days after Notice We amerce him in the sum of £1. 1s. 0d.

8. The said Mayor, Bailiffs and Burgesses for not repairing the Street called Little Barn Street beginning at a Certain Sough there and leading to the Little Barn within the Borough aforesaid and if the same be not repaired within one Month after Notice We amerce them in the Sum of ten pounds.

9. William Roper of the Borough aforesaid Stone Mason for laying several Dung hills at the Top of Wood Street to the great annoyance of all persons passing that way and if not removed in fourteen days after Notice hereof We amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.

10. The said William Roper of the Borough aforesaid for not placing Lids or Rails upon or before his Cellar in the back Weend and if not done in fourteen Days after Notice hereof we amerce him in the sum of £1. 1s. 0d.

11. Robert Roper of the Borough aforesaid Stone Mason for not Repairing the Lids of his Cellar in the back Weend and if not done in fourteen Days after Notice hereof we amerce him in the sum of 6s. 8d.

12. Robert Bibby of the Borough aforesaid Chapman for not Repairing the Lids of his Cellar in the old Shambles and if not repaired in fourteen Days after Notice We do amerce him in the sum of 6s. 8d.

13. Mrs Horridge of the Borough aforesaid for not fixing a proper Board before her Cellar in the Cheapside and if not done within fourteen Days after Notice we do amerce her in the Sum of 6s. 8d.

14. Mr Richard Walton of the Borough aforesaid Woollen Draper for not affixing a proper Board before the Steps of his Cellar in the Friergate and if not done within fourteen Days after Notice we amerce him in the sum of 6s. 8d.

15. John Arkwright and Lawrence Arkwright of the Borough aforesaid Grocers for not fixing a proper Board before the Steps of their Cellar in the Frier Gate and if not Done within fourteen Days after notice we do amerce them in the Sum of 6s. 8d.

16. Mr Robert Hilton of the Borough aforesaid Breadbaker for not repairing the Lids of his Cellar in the friergate and if not repaired within fourteen Days after Notice we amerce him in the Sum of 13s. 4d.

17. The Mayor, Bailiff and Burgesses of the said Borough for not Repairing the Pump near Serjeant Dickinsons in the Friergate and the Pump in the Market place and if not repaired in fourteen Days after Notice we amerce them in the Sum of £2. 2s. 0d.

18. James Chew of Ribbleton in the said County Husbandman for laying and placing Rubbish near John Salters in Friergate and if the same be not removed in 14 days after Notice we amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.

19. Robert Barnes of the Borough aforesaid Butcher for not Repairing the Lids of his Cellar in Friergate and if not Repaired within fourteen Days after Notice We do amerce him in the Sum of 6s. 8d.

20. The Surveyor of the High Roads within the Borough aforesaid for not Repairing so much of the Bridge which divides the Borough aforesaid from the Township of Ashton as he ought to repair and if the same be not repaired within one month after Notice we amerce him in the sum of £3. 0s. 0d.

21. Mr Butler of the Borough aforesaid for an Incroachment made upon the Waste Lands at the Bottom of Fishergate Lane and if not removed in two Months after Notice we amerce her in the sum of £10.

22, Thomas Winckley Esq., for not Scouring and opening a Ditch in the Alms House Lane in the Fishergate and if not Scoured in 14 Days after notice we amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.

23. Mr Thomas Cooper for not opening a Ditch at the bottom of the yard belonging to the Bull Inn and if not opened in 14 Days after notice we amerce him in the sum of 13s. 4d.
